Designed by a firefighter for the firefighter, the Last Chance Rescue Filter is the newest product by Essex PB&R Corp. The Last Chance Rescue Filter is intended to be used as an escape only filter in an out of air emergency while using a self contained breathing apparatus (SCBA). The Last Chance Rescue Filter is a single use device to be used in smoke and fire environments where there is sufficient oxygen to survive. Most structural fires do contain sufficient oxygen to sustain life. Tested against the four gases that most threaten firefighters. What would you do if your regulator failed or the SCBA ran out of oxygen?
